The Daily Chronicle of My Life (Part 4)

Today I slept until 10, since I didn't have class until 11. It was intersting, but the professor kept going on and on and on. The details of the story were intersting, but I only care so much about kickbacks in Baltimore. I had the first electronics lab today. I don't think it will be as bad as I was afraid it would be, but we haven't really started yet.

I went to Old Navy and bought stuff this evening. I got a $70 "Car Coat" for $13 on clearance. I also got a shirt that has a sticker on it for $22.50 for $4.80. Then, I got a haircut on sale since Great Clips is having some promotion. I wasn't planning on getting one for a while still, but I think that $7 for a haircut is enough motivation to move it up a few weeks.

Went to InterVarsity tonight. A couple of people liked my coat and wondered if they had any left. They did when I was there, at least. Lloyd Omdahl, one of the professors here, was tonights speaker. His talk basically can be summarised in two points: tithing is a cop-out for the rich and exploitation of the poor; giving needs to come from the heart, not the law. I agree with him.

I'm going to try a different CD to try to fall asleap tonight. I'm trying to figure out how to muffle my roomates cell-phone, since it keeps beeping and he isn't here and I don't want to touch any of his stuff. I've got a towel over it, but I think I may need more layers

We won in broomball last night in a blowout, but I didn't play. Still couldn't sleep well, even with going to bed earlier, counting to high numbers, music, etc. I need to start looking around to see if there's something I can take that isn't habit forming, isn't a prescription, and is fairly cheap. Maybe some sort of tea, perhaps?

Our heat seems to be coming back on finally, so I guess they fixed it. It's warmed up 6 degrees in the last hour or so. The RHD said that the entire building was cold. I like it a bit on the cool side when I'm trying to sleep, but I don't like 60 degrees in the daytime!
